This painting was about 80% completed on site at the winery late last summer (2009). The winery hosted a plein air painting and wine tasting event. The Susquehanna River can be seen in the distance. This place is a piece of heaven on earth and I hope to be invited to paint there again this summer!

    This is a nice work, Mary Beth. In my experience the more the environment moves you the better the painting seems to be. I love the fence posts!
